Eyes are all on Milan this week as the world descends on our city for the 2026 Winter Olympics. It feels like a good time to share a few of my tried-and-true Milano haunts, the places I return to again and again, long after the hype has moved on.

This isn’t meant to be an exhaustive guide to everything Milan. You can find plenty of those online, packed with the newest, hottest openings that may or may not still exist in two years. This is more of a personal brain dump of the spots that, for me, have stood the test of time.

I’m sure I’m forgetting some important ones, so feel free to add your favorite Milan haunts in the comments too.

Also, if you’d like to see the city through my eyes in person, remember you can always book a private food tour with me. I’d love to show you around.
